OXYGEN SUPPLY EQUIPMENT

Medical oxygen remains one of the most essential components of modern healthcare delivery, supporting critical care services including intensive care, neonatal care, surgical procedures, and emergency treatment.

C-ARM MACHINE

AIC Litein Hospital acquired a C-arm (image intensifier) machine in 2018, which greatly enhanced our orthopedic surgical services by enabling surgeons to perform procedures requiring real-time imaging. This equipment has been essential in managing trauma-related fractures and other orthopedic conditions. Unfortunately, the machine broke down in December 2024.

INCINERATOR

The hospital is in need of a new incinerator because the previous one no longer works. An incinerator is important to safely dispose of infectious materials.

CT MACHINE

The hospital does not have a CT machine, but they have an empty room waiting for one. Currently, patients must travel elsewhere to have a CT scan, which is costly for patients and also causes delays in diagnosis. A CT scanner can also provide a revenue stream for the hospital.

LAB EQUIPMENT

The lab has acquired some machines within the past few years, but they are still in need of more machines and other items. They have requested an additional blood bank refrigerator, a blood gas analyzer, a blood grouping and cross match machine, a blood culture machine, a platelet agitator machine, a blood bank deep freezer, a refrigerated centrifuge, a water bath, a coagulation machine, a smoke detector, a foam fire extinguisher, two binocular microscopes, a geneXpert machine, automatic pipettes (2x1000μL, 2x500μL, 2x100μL, and 2x50μL), and a hot air oven.

MORGUE

The morgue needs to have new body racks and also new cooling equipment.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The hospital is in need of new routers, switches, and cabling to stabilize its Local Area Network.

CHAPEL

Currently, staff take all of the chairs from the waiting rooms into the chapel with them, and so during chapel services and staff meetings, patient families are left without seating. More seating would definitely be helpful. Also, a projector and a screen would be useful.

OTHER OPERATING THEATER EQUIPMENT

The hospital provides various surgical services that feed into our hospital sustainability while providing care for quality care for our patients.
